OpenBMS hardware has arrived from manufacturing and is now ready to be tested!

OpenBMS Test Bench

OpenBMS Test Bench hardware has arrived from manufacturing too! This one came in parts, so a bit of manual work is needed to put it together, and we cannot wait to see it in action!

This is the first time we’re using a purple PCB. We wanted to keep our theme color in the mix :)

Batteries

Different types of batteries will be used for testing, including 18650 cells, 7S Li-Ion packs, and LiPo battery packs. We will share the results of testing these batteries with OpenBMS and OpenBMS Test Bench in one of the next blog posts.

Will It Work? 🤷‍♂️

We are now working on firmware, which we will soon burn to test the hardware - and hopefully won’t burn anything else! Stay tuned, we will share the results soon!
